Decompression Procedures takes students through advanced discussions on gas planning, riskmanagement, decompression theory and dive planning for dives requiring multiple decompression stops.

Divers will furtherrefine their team and buddy skills as more complex dive plans are created and carriedout.  Training dives will go as deep as165 ft (50m) on air or optimized Nitrox and Divers will utilize staged tankscarrying 50% EAN.

The course willinclude hands-on experience with decompression planning software as Diversprepare primary, contingency, and bailout dive plans before every dive. Diverswill also become experienced at evaluating conditions, anticipating potential problems, and applying the appropriate solution to achieve dive objectives. Diverswill also learn new procedures for diver-to-diver anddiver-to-surface communications.

Prerequisites:

• 18 years old
• Certified in:
  • Advanced Open Water
  • Navigation, wreck or cavern
  • DAN Oxygen Provider
  • Technical Foundations or equivalent
• 75 logged dives
• 6 logged Nitrox dives
